Commercial Drivers
Plains All American is continuously expanding operations throughout the U.S. and has opportunities for experienced commercial drivers. We offer local driving which allows drivers to be home every day. Some locations have night shifts and out of district hauls available on a voluntary basis.
Our fleet of approximately 1,000 company trucks is equipped with electronic logging which reduces driver paperwork and the on-board computer system provides a host of information including 2-way communications and GPS tracking capabilities.
Job Descriptions
Crude Oil Haulers
Drivers carry Crude Oil products between customer leases, rail cars, barges, tanks, pipelines and more. All drivers will enter a period of training to demonstrate proficiency in driving, crude oil measurement and testing, operation of truck on-board computer system and ticketing process.
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) or Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) Haulers
Only hauling out of Atmore, AL. Drivers will carry Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) or Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) products from terminal to terminal. Drivers will enter a period of training to demonstrate proficiency in driving, handling pressurized products, loading and unloading products and calculating a load from gallons to percent on transport gauges.
Qualifications for all drivers
- CDL License with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required
- A minimum of 2 years tanker transport experience preferred
- Crude Oil or LPG/NGL transport driving experience preferred
- Must abide by all local, state and federal regulations and guidelines
- Adhere to safety policies at all times
- Successfully pass criminal, drug, physical and driving record screening
Compensation
- Commission basis with night drivers earning additional compensation
- Hourly rates earned for non-driving time (i.e., shop time, safety meetings, etc.)
- $3,000 Quarterly Safety Bonus
- $3,000+ Sign on Bonus
- $1,500 Wage Advance (Repaid if leave the company)
- $500 Driver Referral Bonus
