EnergyPoint Research - Total Satisfaction Award
Plains took top honors in a 2016 midstream industry customer satisfaction survey conducted by EnergyPoint Research. Customers rated Plains 1st in Total Satisfaction and six additional categories. In 2015, customers ranked Plains 1st in crude storage and terminaling and 1st in crude transportation. EnergyPoint Research is the only provider of independent customer satisfaction ratings for the oil and gas industry.
Platts Top 250 Global Energy Company Rankings has
ranked energy companies since 2002 on financial performance
globally, regionally, and by industry sector. In 2015, Plains
ranked 63rd among Platts' Top 250 Global Energy Companies.
Plains All American has been ranked a top place to work by the Houston Chronicle since the rankings began seven years ago. These rankings are determined by more than 78,000 Houston-area employees who evaluated their companies in such areas as opportunities for advancement, the value of pay and benefits, and their supervisor’s communication and management skills.
In 2016, Plains ranked No. 4 in the "Large Companies" category and was the top area energy company. Additionally, Plains Chairman and CEO Greg Armstrong received the "Leadership" award.
The Fortune 500 is an annual list of the largest companies in the United States, based on gross revenue. Plains is currently listed at No. 141 on the Fortune 500 list. Plains has been a top 150 Fortune company since 2005.

Plains was ranked the top pipeline company by Fortune’s “World’s Most Admired Companies” in 2013-2014. Plains has ranked in the top 10 for energy or pipeline companies on Fortune's list of "Most Admired Companies" since 2006.
